* Thanks to Idmatch Smart Caliper technology, Selle Italia offers 6 size variants divided into two groups: S1, S2, S3- L1, L2, L3. Regarding the sizes, the S saddles are all quite narrow, that is, with a seat point between 131 and 136 mm wide while the L ones go from 145 mm up to a maximum of 150 mm.

The number associated with the size (1, 2 or 3) identifies the presence or absence of the central cut (Flow technology): a special anatomical cut that enables the seat point to be ‘unloaded’, ensuring excellent comfort through greater flexibility in the central part of the saddle.

Suitable for riders without great pelvic rotation, the S1 and L1 versions do not have the centre cut and therefore do not need to relieve pressure and friction created on the saddle.

The S2 or L2 saddles have a central cut of reduced dimensions and are suitable for cyclists with a medium pelvic rotation that during pedalling produce pressure and friction: elements that together increase the temperature at the seating point and can create a critical condition and physical discomfort.

The third size- S3 or L3- refers to saddles with a large centre cut, recommended for riders with high pelvic rotation, which create a lot of pressure and friction on the saddle surface.

With size 3, there are also saddles with SuperFlow technology, that is to say with an even larger centre cut, for cyclists who prefer a more comfortable feeling.
