The Cinelli Wave handlebar tape represents an evolution of the brand’s historical approach to EVA-based handlebar tapes, as well as a return to local Italian manufacturing. The base is the iconic EVA tape, to which a new patented brushing technique has been applied. This technique, developed in collaboration with local manufacturing partners, is inspired by the treatments applied to windsurfing booms for competition use and allows Cinelli to improve the grip and feel of the tape without compromising the durability effect of the product.
